The best cake base setup uses Lyleen for Planting, Jormuntide for Watering, Jormuntide Ignis for Kindling, and Verdash for Gathering/Transport. You also need the three ranch Pals: Mozzarina (Milk), Chikipi (Eggs), and Beegarde (Honey). Add Wumpo Botan to keep ingredients moving.

What passives should I use on worker Pals?
The endgame worker build is Demon's Hand + Remarkable Craftsmanship + Artisan + Serious. Demon's Hand adds +90% work speed (Legendary), Remarkable Craftsmanship adds +75%, Artisan adds +50%, and Serious adds +20% for astronomical throughput.
The accessible build (no downsides) is Artisan + Serious + Lucky + Workaholic. It is slower than the endgame build but has no sanity or SAN penalties.
Is Anubis a good worker Pal?
Yes — Anubis is S-tier and one of the best all-round workers in the game. It has Handiwork 6, Mining 6, and Transporting 4, meaning a single Anubis can fill three different jobs in a base. It is breedable, so you can get one without needing endgame access.
For the best Anubis worker build, use Demon's Hand, Remarkable Craftsmanship, Artisan, Serious. If Demon's Hand is unavailable, substitute Lucky or Workaholic.
What is Remarkable Craftsmanship?
Remarkable Craftsmanship is a rare passive skill that grants +75% Work Speed — making it the single strongest work passive in the game. It is the top priority for production and crafting bases and should be bred onto any Pal assigned to Handiwork.
You can obtain it by breeding Pals that naturally carry it, such as Anubis, Jormuntide Ignis, Lyleen, and Orserk.
Should workers have Insomnia?
Insomnia workers never sleep, so they keep working around the clock. This is ideal for bases where you want production to continue while you are offline overnight. The overnight build (Artisan + Serious + Insomnia + Workaholic) takes advantage of this.
If you prefer workers that are always active during daytime play sessions, use the Workaholic or Serious variants instead — they do not force a night-only schedule.
